Italian Roasted Veal

Ingredients:

Plastic baking bag
5 lbs veal shoulder roast
2 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp dry mustard
4 minced cloves
1 large onion, sliced
4 large carrots, sliced
1/2 cup tomato sauce or broth
1/2 cup dry wine
1 cup water
1/4 cup flour


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 300. Place flour in plastic bag and shake. Rub all spiced into veal. Cut slits & insert garlic slivers. Slice onions & carrots & add to bag. Add veal on top of vegetables. Add all other liquids and seal bag. Place in roasting pan and make a few slits in bag. Bake for 3 hrs or more until veal is soft when pierced with fork. Instead of plastic bag, follow recipe & omit flour. Seal roasting pan with foil.
