Pot Roast with Mushroom GravyCuisine: Pesach Category: Beef Servings: 8 Ingredients:1 plastic oven bag2 tbs flour 1 med onion sliced 2 tbs gravy mix 1 cup water 8 oz can of mushrooms 3-5 lb top of rib or brisket 1 tsp thyme 1/4 tsp pepper Instructions:Preheat oven to 325. Rub roast with spices. Shake flour into bag Add all other ingredients . Squeese bag to blend them. Seal bag & place in roasting pan. Pierce bag in a few places. Bake til meat is tender 1 1/2 hrs or more. Check roast with fork to see if tender. Slice well cooled . Add more water to gravy if too thick or not enough.
