Beef Stew

Ingredients:

1 tb olive oil
1 lb steak cut in 1-2" cubes
15 oz diced tomatoes
1 pkg brown gravy mix
2 cups cold water
1 tb soy or steak sauce
1 tsp any seasoning mix
16 oz frozen stew veg or
1 potato, diced &
1 sliced carrot' &
1 sliced celery stalk
pearl onions or large onion chopped
1/4 diced celery knob (optional)


Instructions:

Season meat with pepper, garlic, paprika. Heat large skillet over med heat, add cubed beef & brown. Blend diced tomatoes, gravy in cold water. Add to browned beef cubes. Cover & simmer till beef is tender. Then add vegetables. Continue simmering till veg are done. If using frozen veg about ten min. If raw veg about 1/2 hour or more. Add water if too thick as it cooks. Taste and adjust seasoning. Can be made in crockpot add vegetables the last hour of cooking.
