Apple & Honey Tart

Ingredients:

1/3 cup honey
2 tb fresh lemon juice
3 med granny smith cored sliced
3/4 cup sugar
6 tbs margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
1 tsp grated lemon ring
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tb sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon


Instructions:

Preheat oven 350. Coat 9" spring form pan with spray. Combine honey, lemon juice in large heated skillet. Bring to simmer, add apple slices. Cook 10-12 min until tender, stir to coat apple wedges. Set aside. In mixer combine 3/4 cup sugar,margarine,brown sugar & vanilla. Beat until well blended. Add eggs & beat well, add lemon rind. Combine flour, baking powder & salt. Wisk to combine. Gradually add flour mix to batter. Beat on low until well blended. Pour into baking pan. Remove apple slices with fork and discard liquid. Arrange apple slice in concentric circle (wheel design) on top of batter. Combine 1 tbs sugar & cinnamon and sprinke evenly over tart. Bake for 1 hour. Cool complete remove sides. Serves 10 NOT GREAT
